Meet Your Therapists

How I Approach Therapy:
I don’t believe people are broken. I never have.
Whatever brought you here, I want you to know something: the fact that you’re looking for help isn’t a sign that something is broken beyond repair. It’s a sign that something in you still believes change is possible. That matters more than you might think.
I work with couples, individuals and families who are tired of spinning their wheels — people who are genuinely trying, but keep hitting the same walls. My job isn’t to tell you what to do or decide who’s right; It’s to help you understand what’s actually happening beneath the surface of your relationships, and to give you real tools to shift it.
My approach is direct and collaborative — I’ll meet you with warmth and without judgment, and I’ll also challenge you when it serves your growth.
I draw from Narrative Therapy, CBT, Gottman Method, and emotion-focused techniques, and my work is always trauma-informed and tailored to what you specifically need. I’ve been doing this work since 2015 across outpatient, residential, and substance use settings, and have served as a program director and contributed to behavioral health curriculum development. That breadth of experience means I bring more than a single lens to the room — I bring a wide and grounded perspective on how people heal and how systems change.
As a certified substance abuse counselor, I also have a specialty working with families navigating substance use — whether you’re the one struggling, or you love someone who is.
I WORK WITH INDIVIDUALS, COUPLES, AND FAMILIES NAVIGATING:
• Feeling stuck in relational patterns that keep repeating
• Trauma and its ripple effects across the relationship system
• Disconnection, ongoing conflict, or communication that keeps breaking down
• Divorce, co-parenting, and blended family dynamics
• Substance use — personally or within the family
• Gender identity and the relational conversations that come with it
• Trust ruptures and the long road of rebuilding
• Life transitions that have quietly shifted everything
• A desire for more clarity, purpose, and direction
A Little About Me
Outside the therapy room, you’ll most likely find me on a trail. Running and hiking are how I decompress and stay connected to myself — whether that’s the red rocks of Sedona, the peaks around Flagstaff, or the local mountains right here in Phoenix. Movement and meditation are core parts of my own inner work, and I think that matters. I believe therapists who do their own work show up differently — and I take that seriously.
I’m also a father, and part of a blended family. I know firsthand the beauty and the complexity that comes with that territory — the love, the logistics, the moments that catch you off guard. Those experiences don’t just inform my work. They remind me every day why this work matters.
I became a therapist because I believe people are capable of more than they’ve been told. My goal is simple: help you feel genuinely understood, and then help you build something better.
I offer both in-person and virtual therapy to fit your schedule—and make the process as accessible as possible.
